The Resyaurant is a hidden secret. The food was excellent
The rooms are showing their age . However it was clean and had been painted. perhaps some of the fittings were a little dated.we regularly book through Booked.net. we feel that maybe some hotels give you their low quality rooms. Not the case in Europe and UK.

This motel is right in the middle of launceston and so easy to leave the car at the motel and walk everywhere. This is a real value for money motel and comfortable . We were given an upgrade of a room with King bed and spa absolutely free.

The Commodore Regent is a motel in three connected blocks built on a steep hillside. It has a restaurant. Excellent breakfasts are available at reasonable cost. Delicious gourmet evening dinners are available at appropriate cost. The very small number of staff members (eg one receptionist/waitress plus one chef) were friendly and helpful.

My mother became ill during our stay and the staff of the Commodore Regency were exceptional in their support. They went above and beyond what I would expect of hotel staff. I could not thank them enough and will stay with them again on my next visit.

Commodore Regent Motel is a fantastic place to stay. the rooms are spacious, clean, and recently updated, providing a comfortable environment. It's conveniently located across from City Park and within a short walk to the city center. Check-in is easy with key collection from a lock box, and I appreciated the peaceful atmosphere for relaxation. a great choice for a weekend getaway.
Cleaner entered my room unannounced. No complaints otherwise.

The location to the CBD was great and we enjoyed an lovely meal in the restaurant.
We had to ask for soap and shampoo at reception as there was none in our room. The receptionist said there was a dispenser in the shower, we told her there was not. So she gave us some of each, however during our 4 day stay no more was supplied. Also on the first night the tissue dispenser ran out and was never replenished.
